These general terms and conditions apply to your purchases on, and use of, the website www.hamlinbennett.com. The terms constitute an agreement between you and Hamlin & Bennett, a part of RMKNG AB, registration number 559253-2914, Dansered 501, 438 92 Härryda (hereinafter referred to as “HB” or “we”).

By making purchases from and using this website, you commit to the following terms and conditions. We kindly ask you to carefully read through the terms before using our site.

WHO CAN MAKE A PURCHASE?

This website is intended for you as an adult individual (consumer).

CONFIRMATION

Once we have received an order from you, we will send an electronic confirmation/invoice to your email address as proof of your purchase. It is therefore important that you enter the correct email address when placing an order. We recommend that you save the confirmation to facilitate any future contact with our customer service. The confirmation also serves as your receipt for completing the purchase.

PAYMENT

You can choose to pay by bank transfer, credit card, or through an invoice. Purchases through an invoice are administered by Klarna, and this service can only be used by customers in Sweden. When paying by bank transfer or credit card, Klarna handles all our banking transactions. HB does not directly handle any bank or credit card numbers.

PAYMENT BY CARD

Pay securely with Visa, Amex, or MasterCard online. Your payment is handled by Paypal with secure encryption and in accordance with strict banking standards. Your card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or retrieved by anyone other than your bank. HB does not charge any additional fees for card payments. However, your bank may charge an additional fee depending on the card type and bank. When paying with a credit or debit card, the terms and conditions come into effect as soon as the card transaction is approved. In the event that no payment is received after you have submitted your order, Hamlin & Bennett reserves the right to automatically cancel the order.

PAYMENT BY INVOICE

When you choose to pay via invoice, you can decide whether you want to pay on the day of the order or later (up to 14 days from the order date). It is important that you are registered at the address to which you wish the delivery to be made. You also have the option to split your payment. All of this is done in collaboration with Klarna.

PRICING

All prices displayed on Hamlin & Bennett’s website, www.hamlinbennett.com, include VAT (Value Added Tax), in accordance with applicable laws. If an order is to be shipped to a delivery address outside the EU, VAT will be deducted on the payment page. Please note that if an order is shipped to a country outside the EU, any import duties and taxes may apply, which will be charged when the shipment reaches your delivery address. You are solely responsible for the payment of such import duties and taxes. It should be noted that Hamlin & Bennett has no control over these charges, and as these charges vary for different countries, Hamlin & Bennett cannot anticipate their size. Hamlin & Bennett recommends contacting your local customs office for further information.

ORDERS

Orders made in someone else’s name without their consent will be reported. Hamlin & Bennett reserves the right to change and correct prices on all orders, including final purchases. If a price is incorrect, this may lead Hamlin & Bennett to cancel the purchase and refund the applicable amount in the best possible way. This can be done at any time.

The customer has the right to return a product within 30 days from the receipt of the order. This right applies only under the condition that the product and its original packaging are returned in the same condition as when received. If the customer wishes to exercise their right to return a product, they should contact Hamlin & Bennett to obtain an address to send the item to. The return shipment will be paid by Hamlin & Bennett. If the customer resides in a geographical area where the national postal service does not offer returns, the customer may be responsible for the return shipping costs. If a product is damaged during transport to the customer, Hamlin & Bennett should be contacted within 30 days for information regarding compensation. WARANTY

We offer a global warranty for our products. For details, please refer to our warranty page. For certain products, a warranty card is also placed inside the inner product box in which the purchased product was delivered.

Our global warranty is only applicable to products purchased from this website, a Hamlin & Bennett store, or an authorized retailer.

If you discover a defect in the material or craftsmanship of your purchased product and wish to repair or replace it, please contact our customer support.

When you shop on our website, we will store certain personal data to enable you to complete your purchase. You have the right to request access to your data, and if any information is incorrect, you can have it modified or removed. PRODUCT INFORMATION


Hamlin & Bennett reserves the right to adjust prices, impose additional costs, make changes to the product range, and related information without prior notice. The purpose of the product images and informational texts provided by Hamlin & Bennett is to provide the most accurate and realistic depiction of the products. We strive for all content displayed on this website to be accurate; however, errors may occur. Hamlin & Bennett cannot guarantee that all product images reflect the actual appearance of the products, and therefore, all product images should be considered as illustrations. Please note that product images may vary depending on the color settings of your computer.

DELIVERIES AND CANCELATIONS

HB delivers its products worldwide. Deliveries in Sweden are made in collaboration with the Swedish Post. You have the right to cancel an order and return goods by contacting HB’s customer service or by using the contact form on HB’s website, which you can find here, within 30 days from receiving the goods. However, this is subject to the condition that the goods have not been unpacked and are in the same condition as when you received them. The cost and risk of transporting goods to be returned to HB are borne by the customer.

In the event that you, as a customer, experience an unusually delayed delivery of a product, which leads you to no longer wish to proceed with the purchase, it is your responsibility to cancel the order. If the shipment has already been dispatched, the customer must accept the delivery. A cancellation is not valid until confirmation has been received from HB, either via email or phone. If a product is no longer available for sale, HB has the right to cancel the purchase and provide a refund. HB will notify the customer if a return or equivalent product is available.

CUSTOMER COMPLAINS

It is important for you as a customer to carefully inspect the item upon receipt. If your item has been damaged during transportation, you must report this to the carrier as soon as possible. This applies regardless of whether the damage is visible or not. If you discover that the item is damaged or does not correspond to the product you ordered after receiving it, please contact us within 30 days.

Any complaints should be made to HB’s customer service through our contact form, which you can find here. Please provide us with your order number and the reason for your complaint, and we will provide further instructions on returning the item.

Faulty products returned to HB should still be handled with care by the customer, as if they were in perfect condition. Regardless of the reason for return, it is crucial that the product is packaged in a way that prevents damage during transportation. If a returned product is found to have no defects, HB will return the product to the customer. If an item is to be exchanged, it will be replaced with a product of equivalent model. If a specific product is no longer available, the customer is entitled to a refund. In the event of a dispute between you as a customer and HB that cannot be resolved, you can submit a complaint to the European Union’s Online Dispute Resolution platform. LIABILITY

HB’s liability for defects in connection with delivery is limited in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions for the specific delivery and as stated in those terms.

Our liability towards you for any losses or damages arising from your order on www.hamlinbennett.com is limited to the total amount of your order. HB shall not be liable for indirect losses.

HB shall be exempt from liability for damages and other consequences caused by circumstances beyond HB’s control. Such circumstances include, for example, government intervention, new/changed legislation, war, fires, floods, labor disruptions, prohibitions, restrictions, sabotage, poor transportation and weather conditions, non-delivery from suppliers, or criminal activities affecting HB or its partners.

USER GENERATED CONTENT

Our website may include user-generated content from platforms such as social media. HB does not assume any legal responsibility for such material. If you suspect a copyright infringement, infringement of other rights, or if you feel offended by any content published on the website for any other reason, please contact our customer service.

RIGHT OF OWNERSHIP

All products remain the property of HB until full payment is made.

FRAUD

All fraud attempts will be reported to the police. HB reserves the right to cancel a purchase if any suspicion of a crime arises.

LEGAL RIGHT AND JURISDICTION

Swedish law applies to these terms and conditions and your use of this website. To the extent permitted by law, the Swedish court shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these terms and conditions or your use of the website, except in cases where HB voluntarily chooses to take legal action against a customer/user in their place of residence.

CANCELATION

HB reserves the right to terminate your account and/or your use of the website at its own discretion, for example, if HB suspects that you have violated these terms and conditions. Such termination may be made without prior notice.

INVALIDITY OF TERMS

If one or more of these terms are declared invalid or ineffective by a court or regulatory authority, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms.

IMMATERIAL RIGHTS

The intellectual property rights, such as trademarks and copyrights, on www.hamlinbennett.com, which belong to HB, may not be used for commercial purposes without permission from HB. Any use of www.hamlinbennett.com or its content, including copying or storing such content in its entirety or in part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without permission from HB.
