The Company
On a sunny september afternoon, there was a story waiting to be told
Hamlin & Bennett was founded 2017 by the two friends David and Ossian. On a sunny september evening, they came up with a story about an airplane pilot and a sea captain Hamlin and Bennett, to symbolize the differens between people having one thing to unite them – a watch. Since then Hamlin & Bennett watches have been sold to different people in differnet nations, a uniting force celebrating our similaritys rather than our differences.
Our Mission
We strive to make products made to be used and to last. Our design philosophy is that of minimalistic elegance, influenced by scandinavian contemporary art and modern luxury, scaled back so that every piece of a product makes sense on all levels.
Our Vision
As we grow, the products we want to keep our enviromental footprint as small as possible. To make reach this, we always control the quality to make sure they last as long as possible. We have a responsibillity to make sure every step of our supply chain is fair and every human being treated fairly.
The Founders
David Andersson and Ossian Melin were already long time friends when the brand was imagined. Since then, they have been keeping up with the times, always ensuring to learn new processes and influences to make the greatest product possible.
